Hogg aiming for top-six spot

Hogg aiming for top-six spot

Watford's midfield enforcer Jonathan Hogg has admitted that he will be targeting a top-six Championship berth next season.

The former Aston Villa midfielder has told The Watford Observer that he sees no reason why the Hornets cannot reach the Play-Off's next season.

Watford finished six points and five places outside the n.Power Championship's top six last season following a brilliant run-in which saw Sean Dyche's side come close to an unlikely Play-Off campaign.

Hogg said: "There is certainly room for improvement in all of us and hopefully next year will be a better year and we will be near the play-offs."

Where do you think Watford should be aiming for next season? Are the Play-Off's reachable, or should we be looking to consolidate once more?

Six teams have to finish in the top six places so who knows.. We'll know more when the season gets under way... Then we'll know who's in & who's out... I think at the moment it would take a great season to reach the top six...

Yup. I'm more positive than I was last ahead of last season but it's early, early days. Lets wait and see until we've signed/sold players!
