League Cup agrees new sponsorship deal
The Football League Cup will be re-branded as the Capital One Cup from next season after the Football League agreed a new four year sponsorship deal.
After Carling's agreement with the Football League expired UK credit card company Capital One agreed a new sponsorship deal for the cup.
The first round draw for the 2012/13 season will be on June 14 with the fixtures being played on the week commencing August 13.
This will see the Capital One Cup kick-off the English Football League season with the n.Power Championship fixtures kicking off the following weekend.
