Hornets linked with MK Dons defender

Watford are looking to make a move for MK Dons captain Dean Lewington, according to reports.

The 27 year-old left-back, son of former 'Orns boss Ray, is also being chased by Millwall.

Lewington, who is captain at Stadium:MK has made over 400 appearances for the club since coming through the academy system at Wimbledon.

Watford of course have Carl Dickinson at left-back, but the former Stoke City man is the only senior left-back in the squad, and at times, has looked shaky this season.

Whether or not there is any truth in the rumour remains to be seen, but two senior left-backs would certainly be uncharted waters!

Captain of MK dons... He can't be too bad then... Maybe it would be a good signing... Thumbs up from me...

Certainly looked very impressive in their two playoff games against Huddersfield

Only seen him a handful of times. Good player, but MK fans seem to think he'd cost more than we've got! (Which is understandable!)
