Defensive duo called up by Jamaica

Defenders Nyron Nosworthy and Adrian Mariappa have been called up by Jamaica for a friendly this Friday.

Nosworthy has been called up by Jamaica before, but for Player of the Season Mariappa, this is a first call-up.

Mariappa, born in Harrow, qualifies for international recognition through both of his parents.

Thirty-one year old Nosworthy was called up for the first and last time in 2007 for clashes against Ghana and the Honduras without playing.

The defensive pair have both travelled out to the Caribbean to join their international team mates for a friendly this Friday with Guyana.

Good luck to both Nyron and Adrian!
