Dyche backs Deeney for 'Boro

Sean Dyche has been quick to confirm that striker Troy Deeney will start against Middlesbrough tomorrow, despite attending a hearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court this week.

The Hornet`s top-scorer was up on charges of affray and assaulting a police officer but the case has been adjourned until May.

There had been speculation as to whether or not the former Walsall and Aston Villa forward would feature on Saturday, however Dyche has moved to quash that, saying that the case has had 'no effect` on preparations for thae final N.Power Championship fixture of the season.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Dyche said:

Of course. What, do they get injured in court do they? I just wondered, as I was unsure what they do in there having not been myself."

He will be fine and it hasn`t affected preparations."
