Taylor fit for Brighton trip

Hornet's supremo Sean Dyche has confirmed that centre-back Martin Taylor is fit to face Brighton tonight and will travel to Sussex.

The former Birmingham City defender was withdrawn at half-time during the 1-1 draw with Hull City on Saturday after his eyesight was obscured due to swelling.

Speaking to The Watford Observer Dyche confirmed the news:

'Martin's injury is ok, it has settled down and we are confident he will be fit to play. But we will give it another 24 hours to make sure.'

Dyche also spoke of Gavin Massey's return from a loan spell at League One Colchester United:

To be honest, his recall was a mixture of things. He had played a number of games in his first spell and been involved and in the latter stage of the second spell, he hadn't been involved as much.

'I have a good relationship with Jon Ward (manager) and I just said maybe if he comes back then he gets a look-in with us or he will be back in our environment as he has been out a long time.'

Stephen McGinn is not ready to feature yet however fellow midfielder Ross Jenkins is back from a groin problem which has kept him out recently.
