Watford trial for Dulwich winger

Watford having taken Dulwich Hamlet winger Omari Lawson on trial with a view to a permanent deal.

Sky Sports News are reporting that the 18 year-old winger, who is also comfortable up front, is training with Sean Dyche's squad at present.

Lawson has also spent time on trial with Championship rivals Portsmouth this season and Sky report that the south coast club were keen to tie up a deal for the highly-rated attacker.

Administration prevented Pompey from securing a deal for Lawson and now Watford will look to take advantage with Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace also believed to be interested.

Watford have pedigree for taking Dulwich Hamlet prospects, with striker Omari Coleman joining under Ray Lewington without making the grade in professional football.

Let's hope he is good enough to make the grade... Now Kacaniklic has gone back to Fulham...

Will certainly be interesting to see. Dyche has shown he's not scared to give a chance to a non-league player with Tom James.
