'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dyche: 'A huff and puff type of game'

Sean Dyche was as honest as ever when addressing the press at full-time today, and refused to dress up what was not a classic performance.

Watford were perhaps lucky to take a point from the game with Andy Thorn's Sky Blues who were denied by some brilliant last-ditch defending.

The second goalless draw between these two this season was also the first stalemate at the Vic' this season.

Speaking to the Official Site, Dyche said:

'It was a 'huff and puff' type of game.

'During the first half we were just 'off' it, not as good or bright as we have been, then for the second half there was a good reaction.'

Dyche reserved praise for the impact of subsitute 'Big' Chris Iwelumo during his 30 minute run out:

'Big Chris [Iwelumo] came on and affected the game and we created one or two excellent chances.

'Coventry had some breakaways of their own, which were more down to us not doing our jobs properly, but overall it's another point on the board and continues our good run of form.'

Watford now travel to the West Country this Tuesday to take on strugglers Bristol City.
