'If It's Football, It's Vital'

OFFICIAL: Assombalonga re-called from Braintree

Sean Dyche has added to his attacking options for Saturday by re-calling highly-rated attacker, Britt Assombalonga.

The 19 year-old forward has excelled on loan with the Blue Square Premier side, bagging five goals in as many games for former Hornet, Alan Devonshire.

Assombalonga, who was rescued from the club's football in the community scheme as a youngster had already impressed on-loan at non-league Wealdstone.

Twelve goals during a spell with Gordon Bartlett's side served Assombalonga well and now he will be looking to break into the first-team.

Explaining his decision to re-call the Congo forward, Dyche told the Official Site that Assombalonga will be given the chance to break through at the Vic' now:

We've deemed it fit for Britt to be back involved here now and to continue his development within our club.

'He's had some great external influences over the past few months, a taste of what it means to be playing competitively in senior football on a regular basis.'

Dyche continued:

'Now let's see what he can do back at Watford.'

Welcome back Britt, no pressure, but we're expecting big things!
