McGinn continues comeback in Reading win

Watford defeated Reading 3-1 this afternoon at the club's UCL training ground, thanks to a brace from Piero Mingoia.

Mingoai grabbed two after Matty Whichelow had opened the scoring for a strong Hornet's XI.

Watford lined up with Scott Loach, Martin Taylor, Craig Forsyth, Tom James, Mingoia, Whichelow, Mark Yeates and Stephen McGinn.

McGinn was making only his second appearance following a long-term injury lay-off whilst Martin Taylor made his first start since recovering from a broken toe.

Necessity has forced Taylor into substitute appearances against both West Ham and Derby in the last week.

Taylor was partnered at centre-back by Craig Forsyth.
