Wilson to remain at Watford

Watford head of recruitment Ross Wilson has re-affirmed his commitment to the Hornets after speculation linking him with a move to Derby County.

The former Falkirk man only joined the Hornets in the summer, replacing John Stephenson who had joined Brighton.

The tabloid press have been busy speculating that Wilson was in line to head up Derby's new football operations strand however.

Rams boss Nigel Clough is believed to not be keen on the appointment of someone above him but Wilson looks unlikely to become that man.

Good to see some loyalty for once!

Second that, but would like to see some players coming to the club with more potential

Indeed. I think with signings such as Tom James and Craig Forsyth it's clear that the management are still very keen to bring in unproven youngsters as they are more experienced pro's, which has been one of the main criticisms of Sean Dyche.

Forsyth has taken a lot of stick, he needs time to settle just like Mginn was given, the boy has a sweet left foot and he not be suitable as a wide player, with his height and bucking up, he could be a good front man.
