Takeover by Udinese chief 'journalistic rumours'
Following report toward the back end of last week suggesting that Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo was looking to buy Watford, an Udinese director has come out to dismiss the rumours.
Watford were reported to be a target for Pozzo , who also boasts financial interest in Spanish outfits Granada and Espanyol.
However, a director of the Udine club has denied reports in the Gazetta Della Sport as nothing more than 'journalistic rumours'.
In the mean time, we'll have to do with our Italian-sounding owner, Laurence Bazzini!
