OFFICIAL: Hoban loaned to Stones

Under 18's captain Tommie Hoban has joined team mates Connor Smith and Brit Assombalonga at Wealdstone.

The Irish young international has joined Gordon Bartlett's Stones on-loan for an initial month.

Hoban, 17, is rated as one of the best prospects to come out of the club's academy in recent years and has signed a professional contract at Vicarage Road.

A number of Premier League clubs have been sniffing around the young centre-back who signs two days before Wealdstone's F.A Trophy last 16 match with Dartford.

Good luck Tommie!

Hmmm interesting. Hoban looks a decent centre back and I thought he may have gone to a league club for some decent experience. Heard good thing about Brit Assombalonga so hope he is due back at the VIc soon.

I think it's because he has been out on loan too two clubs and can play for Wealdstone because they are in a low league, either way, the club do seem to have some quality for the future

They've both only been with Wealdstone this season. Certainly hope he continues the good work our young guns have been doing down at Grovsner Vale.
