Watford ponder new Latics bid
Wigan Athletic have made another bid for defender Adrian Mariappa which is 'under consideration', according to the Watford Observer.
Roberto Martinez is alleged to have launched an offer for the Harrow-born centre-half this morning and another offer was rumoured this afternoon.
However, the Watford Observer have revealed that they believe the Hornet's vice-captain is subject of a fresh bid which is 'far superior' to anything Newcastle United have offered.
If and when there is more of an official line, Vital Watford will confirm it.
