Newcastle have logged a final bid with Watford for defender Adrian Mariappa this afternoon.
The bid is believed to be £3.25mil and has been described by Magpies boss Alan Pardew as Newcastle's final bid.
Should Mariappa go Watford we understand that Watford have made an approach for Hearts player David Templeton.
