Smith and Assombalonga extend Stones loan

Academy graduates Connor Smith and Britt Assombalonga have this afternoon extended their loan spells with Wealdstone.

The two Hornet's youngsters have been on loan with Gordon Bartlett's non-league outfit since November 24.

Wealdstone have remained unbeaten throughout the duo's loan spell at Grovesner Vale, and the pair have been central to that success.

Assombalonga has notched eight goals whilst Irish youth international Smith has two.

It is not clear how long the pair will remain in Middlesex but it can only be good for their development to tread the same path the likes of John-Joe O'Toole, Gavin Massey and Marvin Sordell have trodden.

Good luck to both Connor and Britt!
