Hornets` hitman Marlon King was disappointed after drawing with Italian giants Inter Milan at Vicarage Road.
King had sent the Hornets into the lead on 61 minutes only to see his goal cancelled out through a Dejan Stankovic equaliser 15 minutes from time.
"I was disappointed," Marlon told the official site.
"I thought we should have come away with a win. We have to get into good habits and we switched off for a second and they punished us. They are world class so we could only expect that," he explained.
However, last season`s top Championship goalscorer was pleased to pit his wits against some of the best players in the world.
"They have just finished playing in the World Cup," said King. "Most of their players were out in Germany and that's what you want to test yourself against so it was nice to get on the scoresheet but I was disappointed to only draw."
Many of the Hornets goals last term came courtesy of a link-up between 'The King of Vicarage Road` and 'The Big Fella`, with the match against the Serie A stars being no different.
"For the goal, Hendo flicked it on, like he did all night," he said. "I noticed the defender tried to read me so I moved it inside and slotted it into the corner. I was happy to see it go in."
The former Forest forward also paid tribute to Aidy Boothroyd`s summer signings. "We've gelled well over the pre-season. The gaffer has been working hard to bring players in and the ones that he has brought in have been quality, both on the pitch and personality wise," enthused the South London-born striker.
"The new guys have already slotted in and feel like they've been here forever. Dan Shittu only arrived yesterday and played well tonight."
