Watford duo loaned to Wealdstone

Watford duo loaned to Wealdstone

Hornet's youngsters Connor Smith and Britt Assombalonga have this afternoon joined non-league outfit Wealdstone on-loan until January 3.

The young pair become the latest academy graduates to tred the well-worn path to our local neighbours on a temporary basis. The likes of Gavin Massey, Liam Henderson, John-Joe O'Toole and Liam Henderson having all featured for the Stones in the past.

Smith, a Republic of Ireland U19 international and Assombalonga, rescued from the club's coaching in the community initiative both made their debut's toward the back end of last season.

Good luck to both Connor and Britt.
