OFFICIAL: Kightly loan extended

A good day for the Hornets was rounded off this evening with the news that Michael Kightly will remain a Hornet until January.

The Wolves winger has impressed during his initial month's loan deal at the Vic', scoring his first goal for the 'Orns this afternoon.

However, following talks between Watford and the Black Country outfit, the deal has been extended until January 3.

Speaking to The Official Site, Dyche said of the deal:

'He's a very talented footballer and a really solid character generally - so I'm not surprised at all at how quickly he settled into the group.

'He brings an effervescence to us which can provide a real spark at times.'

Excellent news for the 'Orns after an equally pleasing victory this afternoon - Christmas come early eh!

Indeed. An excellent finish to the day. He will put pressure on Forsyth and Yeates for their places.
