Dyche plotting Kightly extension

Sean Dyche has revealed that Watford are in talks to extend Michael Kightly's loan deal.

The Wolves wideman has only featured three times for the Hornet's after being injured on his second start for the club.

Kightly's loan deal is up soon, but Dyche has told the Watford Observer that the two clubs are already in talks to extend that initial deal:

'We are talking to Wolves as we speak.

'He really likes it here and is enjoying his time here and obviously he wants to play more because that is what he came here to do.

'I have spoken to Mick (McCarthy, Wolves manager) and he is happy with what we are doing here so we are trying to extend the loan.'

Kightly has undoubted quality for me and would comfortably be the best winger in the squad.

With only Mark Yeates and Craig Forsyth as true wingers in the squad without Kightly, the former Tottenham trainee would add much needed quality on the ball and competition for places.

Hope he can stay... Although he hasn't played much for us... We need all the help we can this season...

Agree 100%. If we could keep the lad until January he would be able to get a run of games together and start getting back to his dangerous best, which benefits both Watford & Wolves.

As a Wolves fan just wanted to ask how hes been doing?has he just come off the bench or has he played any full games since getting injured.Good luck this year, its a very difficult division to get out of,I think the hardest and most competative of the lot.
Crete Wolf
Cheers Wolf. He started his first two, but got injured in the second before coming off the bench. He's looked alright without setting the world on fire, but I suppose that is to be expected for someone who's spent so much time on the treatment table lately.

Today he got Man of the Match... Plus scored the first... Bit of a deflection though... Wolf have a word with Mick.. We need him for a couple more matches... He is class...
