What does this mean for us...

Very hard to tell. Even if he resigns from the board, he is still the owner, so everything would go through him. I think what it does say is either he is trying to oust GT OR, assuming he is just the frontman of a consortium and there will be a re-shuffle.

This is Jack Petchy all over again! GT isn't stupid, the comments he made on Tuesday were gonna be said weather Bassini was there or not! In away it's like chess and although GT isn't a grand master, he would have taken advice from Timperly & Frantzen. He has forced Bassinis hand and he resigns from the board and in turn will find that he has cheesed off many of us fans.. He can't walk away as he has put a lot of money in to the purchase of the bonds and development. lord Ashcroft would simply take it back, to protect his debt, so administration is a big NO. But if Bassini did have people looking at buying the club off him, then maybe he will be looking for a quckest sale. I'm sure the thought of a few wfc fans outside his house might make him sell too.
