Hornets sign loan 'keeper?

Watford look set to make their second loan capture in 24 hours with Leicester goalkeeper Chris Weale set to arrive on loan.

The 29 year-old former Yeovil Town and Bristol City stopper has fallen down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium with Kasper Schmeichel signed this summer.

Weale made his name in the West Country where he made 159 league starts for the Glovers before joining Bristol City on a free transfer.

Just five league starts later he joined the Foxes where he was number one until Portuguese veteran Ricardo ousted him last season under the recently-departed Sven Goran Eriksson.

Making an educated guess, this means Rene Gilmartin will be heading out on loan in the not-too-distant future.

Does that mean Weale will get any game time? Is a goalkeeper a higher priority than a winger, playmaker or defender? Peculiar decisions from Sean Dyche.
