Whichelow returns to Watford

Whichelow returns to Watford

Young midfielder Matty Whichelow has today returned to Watford after his loan spell with Exeter City ended.

According to The Watford Observer, it was always planned that the 19 year-old midfielder would return after the initial month.

Whichelow made three starts for the Grecians without scoring and was unable to prevent their slide to the bottom of League One.

I'd personally like to see Whichelow included in the squad for Saturday, he's shown he can make things happen and certainly offers more offensively than Troy Deeney who is still not a winger.

Young goalkeeper, Jonathan Bond has also returned to the club after he completed his loan spell with Evo Stick League, Brackley Town.
