Loach dropped for Millwall game?

Loach dropped for Millwall game?

Hornet's supremo Sean Dyche looks set to make his first big call tonight, dropping established number one, Scott Loach.

The 22 year-old 'keeper has been the Hornet's undisputed No.1 for three seasons now but after a string of errors, culminating in Saturday's clanger against Nottingham Forest, Dyche looks set to drop the former England U21 stopper.

The Observer Owl revealed the news on Twitter, saying :

'We understand #WatfordFC goalkeeper Scott Loach has indeed been dropped for the #Millwall game and it is not injury.'

Loach's form has been in and out for the last year and errors have been becoming more frequent with Saturday's mix-up with Carl Dickinson seemingly the final straw.

Should Loach be dropped, backup 'keeper, Rene Gilmartin would be handed his league debut for the club.

So far Gilmartin has been restricted to cup appearances only for the Hornet's and has suffered his own horror show, conceding a tame effort against Brighton in the F.A Cup last season.
