No Bids For Mariappa

No Bids For Mariappa

This lunchtime, the Watford Observer have confirmed they understand that no club has made an offer for defender Adrian Mariappa nor has anyone even made an enquiry about the Hornets stopper.

Overnight reports in South Wales claimed that an offer had been made by Swansea and earlier today BBC Sport posted on their live deadline day news timeline that Swansea had confirmed they were talking to the player.

However, the Watford Observer claim from reliable sources at the club that no enquiry or offer has been forthcoming from Swansea City, managed by former Hornets boss Brendan Rogers.
