Walker poised to re-join Stevenage

Walker poised to re-join Stevenage

Watford midfielder, Josh Walker is set to return to Stevenage on-loan until January.

The former Middlesbrough man has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Vicarage Road, making just one start and a handful of substitute appearances for the club.

Walker, 22, moved to Vicarage Road from Teeside last summer on a free transfer but spent most the campaign out on-loan, taking in spells with 'Boro and fellow League Two outfit, Northampton Town.

This summer's midfield additions - Prince Buaben and Jonathan Hogg have left the Geordie enforcer even further down the pecking order and Sky Sports News say he will return to Broadhall way on loan imminently.

Yeah, his contract ends June 2012. He will be out on loan for half of that. There's no way he's getting a new deal...
