Ghana - Nigeria off at the 'Vic
Tonight's friendly match between African heavyweights Ghana and Nigeria at Vicarage Road will not be going ahead.
The clash was called off earlier this afternoon amid growing fears of trouble in Watford following the riots in London over the past three days.
A statement from Police read:
"This decision was not taken lightly and was done in full consultation with the club [Watford FC]. We hope those fans who had been due to attend the game will understand the reasons why.
"Any fans who had been planning to travel are being asked not to come to Watford."
