Watford cheapest in the Championship

In a BBC sport survey into ticket prices at English and Scottish league football clubs, Watford have been named the 'cheapest day out' in the Championship as well as offering the cheapest tickets.

THE FULL BBC FINDINGS CAN BE FOUND BY CLICKING HERE

An adult going to a Watford game could pay as little as £17.30, based on a £10 match ticket, a £3 programme, a pie at £3.20 and a £1.10 cup of tea.

Meanwhile, the most expensive day out in the Championship is perhaps unsurprisingly West Ham where the same items would come to a whopping £40.30.

Despite the fact that the most expensive Championship ticket available, for £59 is at Ipswich, the Tractor Boys do come out in second spot with a grand total of £23.00 whilst recently-relegated Birmingham City are in 3rd spot with a total of just 40p more.

I think it's worth noting that the £10 adult ticket is probably only applicable to the 'Family Days', where a kids ticket is also just a quid.

All the same, it's a good showing from the Goldenboys commercial team ahead of the big kick-off!

Never known the prices to get in, have always bought my season ticket as that has always been the better deal, but it does the**** when you see what you got to pay to get in to some of the london clubs.
