Eustace Signs Extension Until 2013
Watford have today confirmed that club captain John Eustace has signed a contract extension taking his current deal up until the summer of 2013.
The Hornets maestro, who signed from Stoke City in January 2008 for £250,000, played 42 times for the Hornets last season scoring 6 goals.
Last season after his contract expired he came close to signing for Leeds Utd before deciding to stay loyal to the Hornets and penned a new deal.
This will come as good news for Watford supporters after it put to bed persistent rumours of interest from Derby County.

An experienced head and good pro. Contracts do mean something, don't forget Eustace changed his contract a couple of years back, he waived bonus and appearance fees, so that shows loyalty. He is an obvious leader on the pitch and with the signing of more experienced players, it's gonna help to share the burden.

When has a contract ever stopped a player leaving a club.. Player power is getting to be a joke... JE is a good player yes. I dont doubt that... The facts are you cant make a person work anywhere they dont want...
