Watford set to land midfielder
Former Dundee United midfielder Prince Bauben is undergoing a medical at Watford, Sky Sports News understands.
The 23 year-old Ghanian saw out his contract with the Tannadice side before electing to leave on a free transfer.
A central midfielder by trade, Bauben racked up 103 league starts for the SPL side since signing from Ajax in 2007.
Bauben was once thought of as a bright prospect having been touted for Scottish youth recognition before winning his first Ghana cap.
During his time at Tannadice, Bauben won a Scottish Cup (2010) and was a runner-up in the Scottish League Cup (2008).
Positive news from Vicarage Road with winger Mark Yeates also expected to sign in the near future - two players we definitely need.
