Watford Rumour Mill #1

Watford Rumour Mill #1

The season is now well and truly over so it's time to start addressing those transfer rumours, it certainly promises to be a busy summer with Sean Dyche eager to pep up his squad...

According to The Sun, goalkeeper Scott Loach is being targeted by Swansea. The Premier League Swans have already pinched Danny Graham from the Goldenboys but Brendan Rodgers is apparently looking to lure Loach to south Wales in a £1.7m move.

Swans stopper Dorus De Vries moved to Wolves over the weekend leaving the number one jersey vacant.

Loach had a poor season last season on the whole but he is clearly a decent 'keeper. Interest from Spurs seems to have cooled so maybe now is the time time sell and replace the former England U21 cap with a more experienced 'keeper.

In terms of of arrivals, Bournemouth left-back Rhoys Wiggins is still attracting our interest with a third offer turned down this week according to sources on the south coast.

Charlton are believed to have had a 300k bid turned down - can Watford better that? It seems unlikely. This might have to be one we let go of in order to focus our attention on a more obtainable target.
