Swans launch Graham bid

Swans launch Graham bid

According to Sky Sports News, newly-promoted Swansea City have offered £3m for striker Danny Graham.

Hornet's fan and Sky Sports News presenter Adam Leventhal broke the news on Twitter -

AdamLeventhal #WatfordFC Swansea want Danny Graham. £3m bid. Not accepted or rejected. Higher than £2.5m from QPR & WBA.

Swans boss and former 'Orn Brendan Rodgers is a known-admirer of the former Carlisle and Middlesbrough striker having offered 600k at the beginning of last season.

The only previous offers this summer came from QPR and West Brom who have both had £2.5m bids rejected.

The start of a bidding war?

It appears the teams that mean business are making genuine bids, but let's see if the lure of wales or the north east, think we can forget about bids from mediocre teams, a Paul?

Interesting that Danny on his Twitter page, has said he can't comment on the transfer speculation.. Perhaps he is closer to transfer than is suggested.

It could be that as he is contracted to wfc, anything he writes, could lead to a breach of contract..let's just get a good fee..
