'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Whichelow pens news deal

Attacking midfielder Matty Whichelow has today put pen-to-paper on a new two-year contract at Vicarage Road.

The Harefield academy graduate made four starts and 15 sub appearances last season scoring three goals; including two important ones against Scunthorpe and Preston to secure points.

Whichelow only signed his first one-year professional contract last summer but his rise into the first-team has been hugely impressive and he'll be sure to be involved even more next season.

Speaking to The Official Site Whichelow said:

I'm happy to sign to be honest and to get my future sorted out.

'Now I can look forward to the new season and focus on coming back fit and ready to go for pre-season.'
