Hornets reject Buckley bid

Watford have turned down an offer 'in excess of 500,000' from Championship new-boys Brighton for Will Buckley.

The Watford Observer reports that the League One champions have made 'a couple of bids' which have been turned down in the last week.

Buckley has been highly impressive at times this season, making 37 starts for the Hornets in his first full campaign at the club.

Whether or not Watford will be able to turn down any more substantial offers remains to be seen.

Damn right'n'all. We can get more money for him and they must be amongst the favourites to come straight back down. A more-established PL club will take a punt on him!
