Jenkins set for new deal?

SkySports News are reporting that Hornet's midfielder Ross Jenkins is the next in line for a new deal at Vicarage Road.

The 20 year-old has had an impressive campaign despite an ankle injury that sidelined him for a good chunk of the campaign, re-emerging as a solid central midfielder.

After a disappointing campaign last season, much of which was spent on the bench or in the treatment room, this is the reward for a fine return to form in John Eustace's absence.

SkySkports News believe that the contract offer is for three years which would take the former academy graduate to June 2014.

And, with Stephen McGinn sidelined for a good deal of next season still, Jenkins may well be looking at his first-campaign as regular starter.
