Saracens return to the Vic' next season

Saracens return to the Vic' next season

A deal has been struck between Saracens and Watford which will see the Men in Black play at Vicarage Road 'for 10 games' next season with the terms of the deal 'enhanced' for the 'Orns.

The Aviva Premiership outfit were initially due to leave at the end of this current campaign after the Hornets activated the break clause in the contract.

However, having failed to conclude a deal which would see them move to the Copthall site in Barnet, Sarries will return for at least part of 2011/12 campaign.

Should the rugby club not be able to conclude a deal to move into a new home before the end of their current deal there is an option to extend their stay on match-by-match basis at a match-by-match.

Speaking to The Official Site, Laurence Bassini said:

'The club is happy to welcome Saracens back to our stadium next season.

'Given the long-standing relationship between Watford and Saracens, it is only right that we considered their request.'
