What does the future hold for - Michael Bryan?

With the season winding down, it`s the time of year players, managers and chief executives sit down and decide on the futures of the playing staff. With that in mind, and coupled with the Hornet`s tight financial belt ,VitalWatford will be taking a look at those who are out of contract, on loan or out of favour at the Vic` ahead of the Summer.

Today it`s the turn of Michael Bryan...

It`s been a highly frustrating season for young winger Michael Bryan who looked to be making some headway in breaking into the first-team.

Around October the Northern Irish youth cap was making some real headway, an impressive cameo against Portsmouth was followed up with a couple of starts before long-term injury followed. It was only last weekend that Bryan returned to first-team action with a place on the bench.

As far as Bryan`s chances of a new contract go, I think he`s certainly worth another year. Whenever I`ve seen him he`s impressed and with only two senior wingers on the books in Will Buckley and Don Cowie we need the cover if nothing else.
