'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hoban & Isaac pen pro' deals at the Vic'

Watford have today announced that two of their academy scholars have penned their first professional deals with the club.

Midfielder Chez Isaac was told last month he would be kept on and has subsequently signed a six-month professional contract.

The 18 year-old has skippered the Hornet's U18 side to another impressive campaign this season as the reached the F.A Youth Cup Quarter Finals.

A pleased Isaac told the Official Site: 'I know I've got a long, long way to go - and only a short space of time to achieve what I need to.

'That's how football is. I need to rise to the challenge, come back flying in pre-season and hope I get a chance to show what I'm capable of.'

eanwhile, left-back Tommy Hoban has penned a professional contract too which will see him through until the end of his scholarship at the club.

The official site comments that is as much to protect him from other clubs as anything else and he will see through his scholarship.
