After an exceedingly tight vote, Hornet's forward Super Danny Graham has been named the Vital Watford 'Player of the Season'.

Graham won the vote by just 1% with centre-half half Martin Taylor weighing in just behind and skipper John Eustace further behind him.

It's been an amazing season for Graham who notched 14 league goals last season but smashed that this term with 24 in the league to date. A tally which looks like it will secure SuperDan the Championship top-scorer award to boot.

The former 'Boro trainee was also named in the Football League 'Team of the Season' and won the PFA 'Fans Player of the Season' award as well at Watford's own 'Player of the Season' title, as expected.

Top Three:

.Danny Graham: 37%

. Martin Taylor: 36%

. John Eustace: 10%

Fellow striker Marvin Sordell scooped the Vital Watford 'Young Player of the Season' award.

It's been an impressive breakthrough season, the 20 year-old notching 12 league goals and a further three in the cups.

Despite a lull in the New Year where Sordell was often benched the youngster recently came back to score two good goals at Leicester City and looks likely to be first-choice partner to Danny Graham once again next season.

Top Three:

. Marvin Sordell: 44%

. Matty Whichelow: 18%

. Stephen McGinn: 13%

In the 'Goal of the Season' category, there was a landslide victory for skipper John Eustace, for his overhead kick against Coventry City at the beginning of the season.

A hardly surprising result, despite some of the strong competition we've seen this season, but the 31 year-old's acrobatics back in August were a class above.

Top Three:

. John Eustace Vs. Coventry (H): 62%

. Andrew Taylor Vs. Portsmouth (H): 21%

. Marvin Sordell Vs. Cardiff (A): 13%

Finally, the Vital Watford 'Most Improve Player of the Season' award also goes to Marvin Sordell.

Perhaps a surprise result with Stephen McGinn, Danny Graham and Will Buckley all improving beyond recognition from last season.

However, Sordell as said has enjoyed a very successful debut campaign as a first-team regular having spent much of last season in the reserves and on-loan at Tranmere in League One.

Top Three:

. Marvin Sordell: 46%

. Stephen McGinn: 25%

. Danny Graham: 11%

Well done to all those who have pulled on the yellow shirt this season and contributed to what has been a successful campaign when all is said and done.

Congratulations too to our Vital Watford award winners.

VitalWatford will be reviewing every player's season starting after the PNE game. The only criteria is that they must have played in some part this season, be it just a minute in the League Cup 1st Round.
