Leicester City 4-2 Watford

WATFORD THREW away the lead at the Walkers to hand Sven Goran Eriksson`s men the win having failed to build on their first-half display.

Two stunners from Jeffery Bruma and a brace from sub Yakubu did for the 'Orns afer Marvin Sordell had sent the Hornets in 2-1 up at half-time with two of his own off the bench.

Watford brought striker Andi Weimann in for Marvin Sordell in their only change whilst he Foxes pushed defender Jeffery Bruma into midfield with Matt Oakley dropping out altogether. Yakubu was also benched.

Sub Marvin Sordell handed Watford the lead after 28 minutes when he robbed Foxes right-back Kyle Naughton just inside his own half. Sordell charged on before cutting onto his weaker right-foot and curling the ball into the top left-hand corner.

Holding-midfielder for the day Bruma levelled things up though not long after as he was allowed the time and space to crack home from 30 plus yards; Scott Loach failing to get down quick enough.

Watford did go into half-time ahead when Troey Deeney teed up Sordell who danced into the penalty area before firing home low in the bottom corner.

Half-time: 1-2

Sub Yakubu levelled again for Leicester when he tapped home after Loach had collided with Aidy Mariappa after a routine collection of a loose ball.

Bruma then put the Foxes ahead for the first time in the game with an even more spectacular second. Letting fly from the same distance he cracked the ball into the top corner from fully 30 yards.

Two minutes later Yakubu completed the damage when he nonchalantly lifted over Loach after his initial save.
