Graham in 'Team of the Year'

Hornet's striker Danny Graham was tonight named in the PFA Championship 'Team of the Year'.

The Gateshead-born hitman failed to notch the 'Player of the Season' award at the Football League awards earlier this month but was selected alongside Grant Holt of Norwich City in the PFA's Championship Team of the Year.

Twenty-six year-old Graham has notched an imperious 26 league and cup goals in 45 appearances this campaign, making it the most prolific of his career by some distance.

Golden Graham was picked along with the following:

Kenny QPR; Naughton Leicester City, Williams Swansea City, Morgan Nottingham Forest, Harte Reading; Sinclair Swansea City, Taraabt QPR, King Leicester City, Hoolahan Norwich City; GRAHAM WATFORD and Holt Norwich City.

The man's reaction? @dawgraham10 danny graham:

can I say thanks to boro carlisle and watford I love u all xxxx
-- Bless him!

Congratulations Danny!

DG has worked his socks off this year and should be rewarded with a good move, However i do not see the fee being as high as some might suggest, other clubs will see his contribution, effort and goal scoring, but he will be marked down, for some of the misses he has had.

I think someone like Jay Bothroyd will move before him - better player or not, it's hard to determine, but he's more high-profile and those players so often move up a league first.
wfc123
Bothroyd is out of contract come july, so i guess he already has his move linned up. its what happens to DG, who i guess has an agent who will no tout be touting him about
ANDY710
I didn't realise Bothroyd was out of contract as it goes. I imagine he will end up at somewhere like Fulham. Re. Danny, he's said he's enjoying the attention of Premier League clubs and that he would only move for a Premier League club - let's hope Rodgers' Swansea don't get promoted as he is certainly a known admirer of Dan!
