Bassini responds to Watford Observer letter

New owner Laurence Bassini yesterday released a letter in response to that sent by the Watford Observer last week.

The Observer letter asked a number of questions worried fans wanted answers to, including questions on Bassini's background, his finances, funding and his own role on the Watford FC Limited board.

Bassini's reply, published through the Official Site was 'only brief' and covered 'some points in brief detail'.

The highlights surrounded the development on the ground. Bassini revealed he was in negotiations of various stages with people responsible for the South West Corner, the pitch, the PA system and certain seats.

He also went on to spin some spiel about 'buying into the club's ethos' and the importance of transparency and communication before closing by saying he 'would be in touch soon.'

IN FURTHER TAKEOVER NEWS, it was yesterday revealed that Laurence Bassini was now just 2% away from reaching the magical 90% whereby he could de-list Watford FC Limiuted from the stock exchange.

It was also revealed by the Watford Observer that the Russo brothers had sold up their shares to Watford FC Limited leaving them with no vested interest in the club.
