Hornets to land winger?

Hornets to land winger?

According to the Daily Mirror Watford are set to land Dundee United's out-of-contract winger, Craig Conway.

The 25 year-old winger can play on either flank and has been at Tannadice Park since 2006, making 129 league starts for the SPL side.

Speaking to the Watford Observer, Malky Mackay refused to comment on the speculation:

'I am not going to talk about other team`s players.' Said Mackay.

According to the Watford Observer Ipswich Town, Middlesbrough and Rangers are all also interested in securing the services of the two-cap Scot.

Adding a winger to the squad would be sensible with Will Buckley and Don Cowie the only senior wide-men in the squad - especially if the latter does not agree a new contract.

I can not believe that the club have let Cowies contract run done with out any mention of extending his contract. Is there not an option for a 3rd year?

Yeah, we have an option for a third year. I bloomin' hope we secure him on an extended deal, he's been excellent this season.
