Hornets count cost of keeping players
Watford Leisure PLC, parent company of the club, this morning announced a pre-tax loss of £2.5m
Following a January where the club did not sell any of it's key assets on the playing staff, losses were up by nearly £2.4m after the club recorded a loss of just 177k for the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the takeover of the club by Laurance Bassini moved a step closer today as the offer document was sent to shareholders.
