Hornet's injury update

Scot Stephen McGinn left the Keepmoat Stadium with his leg in a brace, it has been revealed.

The Watford Observer says that the Scottish U21 cap left Doncaster with his leg in a brace having been subbed off after just 37 minutes of the 1-1 draw on Saturday.

There has been no indication as to how long the former St Mirren man will be sidelined for or exactly what injury he sustained.

"Stephen is in a brace at the moment, we don`t know what is happening with him as far as his knee is concerned. That will be monitored in the next couple of days.' Said Malky Mackay.

McGinn's replacement Danny Drinkwater and striker Andy Weimann also came off with a knock on Saturday though the loan pair are expected to be fit for Saturday:

"Weimann and Drinkwater suffered heavy knocks that should be ok by the middle of the week, hopefully. The right back [Adam Thompson] has sickness and diarrhoea which should be a few days.' Said the gaffer.

Rob Kiernan, currently on-loan at League Two Wycombe Wanderers marked his debut with a knee problem that saw him replaced though it is not as bad as first feared.

As far as good news is concerned on the injury front, wingers Will Buckley and Michael Bryan should be back in contention for Saturday's visit from Millwall.
