Hornet's Taylor bid closer to100k

The Watford Observer are reporting that Watford's bid for left-back Andrew Taylor is closer to 100k than the 800k reported by press in the North East.

The Middlesbrough left-back revealed earlier in the week he had the dilemma of choosing between staying at The Riverside to fight for his place and a new contract or moving to Vicarage Road for good.

According to the Observer's sources the young full back favours a move to Vicarage Road despite playing more regularly for the Smoggies under new gaffer Tony Mowbray.

However the former England youth cap would have to contend with a pay decrease if he were to join the Goldenboys permanently.

Go on Andrew, you know it makes sense!
