Graham: 'I wouldn't be interested in a move'

Danny Graham has categorically told the The Watford Observer that he is not interested in leaving high-flying Watford any time soon.

The Hornet's 15 league goal top-scorer said:

"No, I wouldn`t be interested in a move. Obviously, as I have stated in the past, you tell me a player that doesn`t want to play in the Premiership. But I am contracted to Watford, I have heard nothing about any move and if it stays that way then I am happy with that.

"I have a job to do at Watford and they gave me the chance to play in the Championship. At the end of the day, I am contracted to Watford so we can play that one down right away because I am more than happy here."

The Gateshead-born forward also spoke of the alleged interest from Swansea City which arose during the Summer just gone:

"Personally, when Swansea came in, I looked at it as it gave me a boost because they are a good team who appreciated what I was doing.

"But I am playing for Watford, I am contracted here and I am happy here. Speculation is part and parcel of football and it is not something which is going to turn my head.

"I am focused on doing more for Watford and hopefully having a good second half of the season."

Good to see some loyalty from Golden Graham though you have to admit, when it comes to when he leaves Vicarage Road, it won't be his decision. Our financial situation will dictate when the 25 year-old moves onto pastures news.
