Watford-Cardiff: Updated Team News

Watford will be without Don Cowie as well as skipper John Eustace for Saturday's trip to the Cardiff City Stadium.

A thigh strain for winger Cowie may mean Andros Townsend gets the nod to make his debut with Will Buckley down the other flank.

Academy graduate Michael Bryan has been out of late with an ankle problem but is back in full training now, as is fellow academy grad. Lee Hodson.

From a Cardiff perspective, it's only good news.

Star strikers Craig Bellamy and Jay Bothroyd are both back from injuries which ruled them out of the trashing at Vicarage Road meaning Jon Parkin and Andy Keogh may drop to the bench.

Midfielder Stephen McPhail picked up an injury in the F.A Cup clash with Stoke City in midweek.

Last season's top scorer Peter Whittingham has since recovered from injury as has fellow winger Chris Burke and both should feature.
