McGinn out for 4-6 weeks

Malky Mackay will be without the services of the much-improved Stephen McGinn for 4-6 weeks it has been revealed.

The Scottish U21 midfielder was his by up to three beer bottles at Loftus Road on Monday night but a clash with Rob Hulse left the diminutive midfielder injured.

A fractured cheekbone will sideline the former St Mirren midfielder for between four and six weeks it was last night revealed:

'It's very disappointing for him.

'But we've already spoken about how I want him to step on again during these next four or five weeks.'
