'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hornet's 'confident' Foxes game will go ahead

Head of operations Glyn Evans is confident that the Hornet's clash with Leicester City at Vicarage Road will go ahead despite the snowfall this week in Watford.

Ground staff are using undersoil heating to prevent the game being postponed and are 'very confident' that the two teams will do battle in WD18 on Saturday afternoon.

'The forecast suggests we've already had any snowfall of significance. Evans said.

'Right now, the area around the ground and town itself hasn't suffered with significant snowfall so we're very, very confident.'

Should the game be postponed then you'll find out here on VitalWatford first and fastest.
